Why dbp cabinet?
From admission processes to important correspondences, each person-related administrative case produces important documents that should be handled carefully and with long-term accessibility in mind. The cabinet application offers manual PDF and data uploading, as well as fetching input from external DMS, to enable flexible contextualization and overview of documents and data through combinable string and facetted search.¶

Secured and long-term available documents
Our data modeling and storage concept are flexible and standard-compliant. Thanks to these qualities, we are independent of proprietary storage systems and able to guarantee secured long-term storage, as well as the possibility of data and file migration to other systems.¶
Document enrichment through user defined data
Each uploaded or imported document contains system defined metadata (e.g. upload date, or content-related data generated in CAMPUSonline). Furthermore, users can fill out predefined data fields, which can then be searched for using search facets.¶
Quickly establishing contexts through filtering options
The integrated search engine handles thousands of documents in milliseconds. It contains a typo tolerant string search, as well as combinable facet search options. This makes it possible not only to quickly find the document you are searching for, but also groups of documents with specific data values. Additionally, the document count results in quick and easy data statistics, such as “How many persons from [a country] are studying [a study field]”.¶
